Shipping Policy

1. Our shipping carrier is Canada Post. Please note that due to COVID-19, shipping times may be longer than expected.

2. All orders are shipped from our headquarters in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. We currently ship across Canada and the USA. Orders are processed within 2 business days of being received. We do not ship on weekends.

3. We offer a flat rate shipping fee of $16.95 + tax in Canada. USA shipping is calculated based on weight and will ship either as small packet (under 2KG or tracked packet for orders over 2KG).

4. Lunenburg Rum Cakes Ltd. takes no responsibility for any losses, damages, or delays that may occur. Contact us immediately if your parcel is lost or damaged.

5. Please ensure that you enter your shipping address correctly.

6. Any customs fees or charges are the responsibility of the customer.

7. Parcels are shipped without insurance.

8. Local delivery is offered every Thursday for $5. This is within Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Bridgewater areas.

9. Delays often occur in November and December. Get your orders in early to ensure your parcel arrives on time. Lunenburg Rum Cakes Ltd. takes no responsibility for delays in delivery.

10. Easter orders must be in by 12PM on Wednesday, March 29th for delivery on Thursday, March 30th. We will not be delivering Thursday, April 6th.

11. We will be closed from Tuesday, April 4th at 11:59 PM, and reopening Wednesday, April 12th at 11:59 PM. Any orders placed in this time frame will not ship before Thursday, April 12th.
